Capitol Hill Arts Workshop to Host Open House with Free Classes

The Capitol Hill Arts Workshop hosts an Open House on Saturday, January 7, 2006 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Visitors will learn about Arts Workshop classes, private lessons, and programs and have the chance to participate in free classes and demonstrations. Arts Workshop staff and faculty will be on hand to meet the community and offer tours of the theater, and art, dance, and ceramics studios. Visitors will also get a chance to view the Arts Workshop’s basement renovations featuring an improved photography darkroom and a new digital computer lab and private music rooms.

“We are excited about opening the Arts Workshop’s doors to the community,” said Jonathan Darr, Executive Director of the Arts Workshop. “The Arts Workshop is a unique DC institution. So much happens here each day and an open house is a fun way to share our classes and programs with the community. Everyone is welcome, so please, come on by!”
